Brian Lewis
Brian Lewis was born and raised in Southeast Missouri. His dad introduced him to hunting the very moment he was big enough to walk. The passion to hunt was driven deep enough for Brian to hide his father's hunting boots and truck keys so he would have to wake Brian up in time to go hunting with the men. Brian's first waterfowl memories involves him in a pit, being balanced on a five-gallon bucket on one side by his dad, on the other by his Uncle Larry so that he could see Canada geese working their spread. Little did they know that a hobby would become such an obsession. Brian has spent time guiding waterfowl hunters in Southern Illinois and Southeast Missouri. Although waterfowling and retrievers are his first true love, Brian has also spent countless hours in a stand hunting and videoing whitetail deer. Since the beginning of Brian's hunting experiences a dog has always been a key part. It's no different now. In 2005 Brian left working as a marketing consultant to pursue a full time career training and handling retrievers. Now Brian works as an assistant producer for Ollar Outdoors, filming the Wing-N-Tine Videos and as a full time trainer at Schreiner Kennels, in Cape Girardeau, MO. Brian's goal is to produce trained retriever with very solid basics to be able to continue in any intended venue. He hopes to be able to continue his career and education by being involved with the best company and very best Pro-Staff in the business, Avery Outdoors, Inc.
